Welcome to the Management System, the backbone of YOUR CHURCH’s continued development of a strong, capable infrastructure.
Management System Access
The Management System site is private. Beyond this Homepage content, everything in the Management System is only accessible if you possess valid login credentials.
Use the login box located under the search field in the right-hand column of the website. Once you’re logged in, the box will show your login status along with a link to logout of the site.
If you don’t possess a login or are having trouble getting successfully logged in to the site, contact the Executive Pastor.
Navigating the Management System
Top-Level Navigation
The menu across the top of the Management System site is organized by Element. Every aspect of YOUR CHURCH is organized under one of five Elements. The Elements of the Management System are further defined and explained in the Management System Manual.
Secondary Navigation
The secondary navigation menu, located just under the top level menu bar, is organized by Department. Again, everything in the system can be found under the department(s) it most directly falls within. In some cases, an item might fit into more than one department. If this is the case, it will be listed under all of the departments it falls beneath.
Search Field
A search field exists at the top of the right column. In most cases, if the user is looking for something specific, using the search field is the fastest and most direct navigation method. For example, if a staff member is looking for a job description, they may search for it using the title they’re looking for or even a key word or phrase they might associate with a particular position.
Another example might be a staff member looking for how much vacation they are eligible to receive or how they might request vacation. Using the search field with the word “vacation” will display everything in the Management System that contains anything pertaining to vacation.
Document Types
Another effective method of navigating the Management System, is viewing content by Document Type. Use the box in the right-hand column to view content by type.
Would you like to see all YOUR CHURCH active Job Descriptions? Use the Job Descriptions link to reference the Directory of Job Descriptions. From there you can choose which one you are interested in viewing.
Use the Document Type navigation to view all Policies, Operating Procedures, KPMs, or anything else on the list.
Tags and Recent Additions
Lastly, Management System content can be found using Tags and Recent Additions located at the bottom of the right-hand column.
Definitions
The Management System site includes “hover-over” functionality to provide the user with definitions for terms or phrases. If a term or phrase has a definition associated with it, an underline will be present. The user should hover-over the term or phrase to display its definition.
Printing or Creating PDFs
Each Management System post contains a button at the bottom that can be used to print the post or to create and save a PDF.
Use of this feature should be limited as once a post is printed or used to create a PDF, it is static and, over time, can be obsolete. New content and revisions to existing content is happening over time. Obviously printouts and PDFs are only accurate when they’re created. They’re only good for limited, one-time use.

YOUR CHURCH’s Management System is in a continuous state of addition, deletion, modification, and improvement. As you use it and you make observations, please ask questions and make suggestions.
